Congratulations to Moksha Arts for winning TWO awards their first time at Naya Andaz!!

Moksha Arts took 16 adults to compete in the Senior Category at Naya Andaz this year to compete for the first time and walked away with TWO awards; Best Costume and 3rd Place.

Our group was comprised of adults who work full time or go to school full time. As busy as everyone’s schedule was, they all made the time to rehearse on a weekly schedule and dedicate hours at length to learn a very difficult choreography and concept. Omkara is not a typical Bollywood number but we wanted to show our creativity on stage and challenge ourselves to do something unique. This dance was dedicated to all the warriors of India that have protected our country from invaders for years.

Check out the show on AVS and Star Plus.
